These terms and conditions apply to all services offered on this website by Edward van Veen, based in the Netherlands. By booking a tour or using this website, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We offer customized, privately guided ancestry tours in the Netherlands, designed based on the information provided by the client. Each tour is unique and planned with care, but we cannot guarantee access to specific locations (such as private properties or archives), which may be subject to availability or local restrictions.

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made in advance via email or our contact form. Details regarding payment, pricing, and availability will be communicated directly with each client. Payment methods and deadlines will be outlined in the booking confirmation.

4. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a booked tour, please inform us as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled tour may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour may result in a cancellation fee, depending on the work already carried out and any costs incurred.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and relevant information about their ancestry

  • Arriving on time at the agreed pickup point

  • Having valid travel and health insurance

  • Informing us in advance of any special needs or limitations

6. Liability

While we do our best to offer a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in a tour is at your own risk. We are not liable for:

  • Any injury, loss, or damage during the tour

  • Delays or disruptions due to weather, transportation, or third-party services

  • Inaccurate or incomplete historical information, as we rely on available records and local sources
